Peer support group · New Bedford

Gender
Common

A peer support group where trans and nonbinary folks find common ground. Come as you are, pull up a chair, and leave a little lighter.

November dates

558 Pleasant St, Suite 306, New Bedford, MA 02740. Free, facilitated by Dan Everton (he/they). No RSVP needed.

Apple or Outlook calendar? Download both dates.

Trans and nonbinary people run into discrimination and everyday grief that the rest of the community does not always see, and in times like these it is hard to find a room where you do not have to explain any of that first. Gender Common is that room: an hour with people who already get it.

There is no agenda to keep up with and nothing to prepare. Come once, or keep coming back. Nobody will ask you to introduce yourself as anything you are not ready to say out loud.

How it works

1

No RSVP needed

There is nothing to sign up for. You do not have to call ahead or give your name. Just come.

2

Tuesday evenings, 6 to 7 PM

At 558 Pleasant St, Suite 306, New Bedford. In October it meets Tuesday, October 20. In November it meets Tuesday, November 3 and Tuesday, November 17.

3

You show up as you

That is the whole job. Bring a friend if it helps you get through the door.

Come as you are
